Professor Colin Song
Professor Colin Song is an internationally experienced Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon, clinician-scientist and academic with a distinguished career spanning South Africa, Singapore and Australia.
His expertise encompasses wound healing, reconstructive surgery, scar and keloid
biology, stem-cell research, tissue engineering and microvascular surgery. His research
has included skin-derived stem cells, cultured skin, tissue-engineered constructs and small blood-vessel engineering.
Professor Song has held senior clinical and academic leadership positions, including
leadership roles at Singapore General Hospital, and has contributed extensively to
international medical education, research and peer-reviewed scientific literature.
